Following a season where Comcast customers could not watch New York Yankees baseball on YES Network, the two sides have agreed upon a new deal.

After a non-agreement between YES Network and Comcast for the entire 2016 season, YES is now finally back on the television provider. Comcast released the following statement:

“We always said that we would continue to evaluate whether there was a way to bring back the YES Network under terms that are consistent with our commitment to providing the best programming at the best possible price,” Comcast said in a statement. “Our year-end discussions with Fox  gave us a chance to revisit this, and we were able to reach an overall agreement for Fox News Channel, 12 Fox RSNs, and YES Network that makes sense for both of us – and most importantly, our customers.”

However, despite an agreement being in place, the network will not reappear on Comcast until shortly after the beginning of the 2017 season. So if you were looking forward to watching Spring Training it does not look likely you will be able to do so if you are a Comcast customer.
