With Chad Green on the mound for the Yankees, Curtis Granderson pounced to provide his New York Mets an early 1-0 lead in Game 3.

He has done it again.

Curtis Granderson has now smacked his franchise record holding 18th lead-off home run for the New York Mets.

His most recent came in one of the parks he’s so familiar with, and loves to hit in.

With the scene of the Subway Series shifting to Yankee Stadium for Game 3, Grandy took advantage of his opportunity to pop one up to the short right-field porch at the House That Ruth Built (video above).

Chad Green, the New York Yankees starter, looks shaky. He later yielded a run producing single to James Loney, but then got out of the inning with a tailor-made double play hit by Wilmer Flores.

The score remains 2-0 as the teams head to the bottom of the opening frame.
