Tuesday night in the Bronx brings the Oakland A’s to town to face Nate Eovaldi. Meanwhile, Jacoby Ellsbury eyes Wednesday as return.

Tonight at Yankee Stadium, 7:05 pm ET, the New York Yankees will host the Oakland Athletics to begin a three-game set.

Nate Eovaldi will receive the start as he faces MLB All-Star Sonny Gray (9-3, 2.09 ERA).

The last time the Yanks faced Gray was back on May 29 of this season. They fell in defeat by the final of 6-2.

Meanwhile, the push to get Brett Gardner into the MLB All-Star Game rages on. The man who currently sports a .297 average with 9 HR, 39 RBI, 60 R and 15 SB was left off the squad by Kansas City Royals manager Ned Yost.

He is a finalist for the final fan vote.

Jacoby Ellsbury is eyeing a Wednesday return to the lineup. He hasn’t played since May 19.
