While New York Knicks president Phil Jackson seems willing to talk about anything, he remains silent when it comes to the Knicks.
It appears that the New York Knicks president of basketball operations is open to talking about anything, except for the Knicks that is.
According to Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News, Phil Jackson was approached by reporters outside of his Madison Square Garden office and was mostly dismissive of their questions, especially when it came to Carmelo Anthony. In fact, the only thing he had to say related to the state of the Knicks was, “We got a win (Wednesday) night, right? That’s great.”
Phil Jackson did, however, have a few things to say that had nothing to do with basketball, commenting to reporters about how nice the weather was. Jackson also took a shot at soon to be President of the United States Donald Trump stating, “The inauguration is happening, much to everyone’s dismay.”

It seems these days that the Knicks are the only thing that Phil Jackson isn’t allowing himself to be in the limelight for. Jackson, 71, has had a tough go in the eyes of the media lately, as he has made headlines for feuds with LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony, as well as his split with fiancee Jeanie Buss.
Maybe Phil should focus on the Knicks while at work instead of his outside world, especially considering the Knicks are 3-12 in their last 15 games.
