Jose Canseco didn’t hold back with his opinion of the new Baseball Hall of Fame class for 2017, including harsh words for Jeff Bagwell and Bud Selig.

With Bud Selig opening the PED doors of the Baseball Hall of Fame, Jose Canseco is looking for equality across the board. After seeing Jeff Bagwell make the cut, Canseco had some choice words for the now Hall of Famer.

The important key here is that the “older generation” of voters who are standing on the beaches yelling at the high tide are fading. We have a new age of voters being assimilated who are holding less of these PED users accountable.

Since we truly don’t know who really used and who just didn’t get caught in the act, it’s tough to gauge PED credentials.

Canseco agrees with this sentiment and wasn’t even close to done with his Twitter rant on this epic baseball Wednesday.

Canseco continued to reel off names of known PED users who should be joining the elite of the elite in Cooperstown.

The man who infamously exposed so much dirt about baseball over the last two decades also said, “And definitely bonds should be in the Hall of Fame are you kidding me that is disgusting!”

Well, his wish is well on its way to coming to fruition. At least that looks like it’s going to be the case for Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens.

Barry Bonds (53.8 percent) and Roger Clemens (54.1 percent) didn’t make the cut, but they continue to gain ground in the voting. Last year they were 10 percent under their new numbers, a very positive sign that in the next five years of eligibility that they’ll make it in.

This data is seemingly opening up the floodgates for the rest of the guys: McGwire, Sosa, Palmeiro etc. And we know Canseco’s a fan of this trend — the same guy who outed alleged steroid users in his 2005 book, “Juiced.”
