The New York Knicks snapped their six-game losing streak Friday in Milwaukee with a huge win. They’ll try and keep that up against the Pacers.

  • Indiana Pacers (19-18)

The losing is finally over.

The New York Knicks overcame an 18-point deficit against the Milwaukee Bucks to end their six-game skid compliments of the return of Kristaps Porzingis and an unlikely spark from their third-string point guard and Twitter celebrity Ron Baker.

It was a big win for the Knicks. Like most middle-of-the-road teams they struggle as the visitor and when they fall behind.

According to NBA.com, the Knicks were just 10-18 when they fell behind by 6-10 points and before last night 0-11 when behind by 16-20 points.

They improved their mediocre road record to 6-12 and will try and build on that great victory Saturday night in Indiana against the Pacers.

New York is winless in six back-to-back contests so far, and Indiana is on a four-game winning streak. However, the Knicks proved they could beat the Pacers at the Garden back in December. Indiana is 14-5 at home, so this one should be different.

Especially with the way Paul George is playing during their winning streak. The All-Star forward is averaging 27.3 points per game and shooting the lights out on a slash line of .515/.455/.906.

George was outplayed by counterpart Carmelo Anthony in the first matchup when he scored just 16 points (6-16, 0-3) and Anthony dropped a season-high (tied) 35 points (13-25, 7-11).

Both players have momentum heading into Saturday night.

Despite a poor shooting fourth quarter, Anthony hit the go-ahead three (doesn’t he always seem to do something like that?) and helped the team along with all of the things his passing. Per ESPN.com, the Knicks shot 7-9 on Anthony’s passes in the fourth quarter and the franchise player accounted for 20 of their 33 points in the final 12 minutes.

The Melo-PG-13 matchup should be a great one this time around.
