The Knicks have announced that forward Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) will miss his third straight game tonight against the Bucks.

The New York Knicks will need to wait for at least one more game for help from their basketball unicorn. The team announced that Kristaps Porzingis would miss his third straight game due to a sore Achilles.

Lance Thomas will again get the call to start in Porzingis’ place.

The Knicks were hoping his return would bolster their struggling defense against the Bucks’ impressive offense. Milwaukee ranks 3rd in field goal percentage, 9th in points per 100 possessions and 10th in three-point percentage.

All eyes will be on that Knicks’ defense tonight as they try and keep up with the two-headed monster of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jabari Parker.

The Knicks really could’ve used their unicorn tonight.

Wednesday’s game tips off at 7:30 p.m. ET on the MSG Network.
