New York Knicks‘ Carmelo Anthony is one of three superstars who released a signature shoe on Christmas Day via Nike.

The New York Knicks suffered a tough loss at the hands of the Boston Celtics on Christmas Day. But it wasn’t all bad for Carmelo Anthony.

Anthony showed his charitable side before today’s game when, through Kia and his Garden of Dreams Foundation, he gifted a brand new car to 17-year old fan and cancer patient Jarrell Lara.

But that wasn’t all. Nike released brand-new signature shoes for Anthony and Cleveland Cavaliers stars LeBron James and Kyrie Irving.

Craig Zanon, vice president and general manager of Nike Global Basketball, told Bleacher Report:

“Inspired by the excitement around the games, Nike started releasing special colorways and styles for our signature athletes on Christmas years ago. Immediately, we saw incredible energy in the marketplace, with consumers clamoring for more and waiting to see what Nike would do next. This year we decided to shake it up. For the first time in our history, we’re offering not just new styles, but we’re debuting actual new basketball shoes on Christmas. For sneaker fans, on Christmas Day, the gifts just keep coming.”

Bleacher Report on Anthony’s shoe, The Melo M13:

“Built with comfort and support in mind. A rubber outsole and modified traction pattern enhance the shoe’s grip for quick cuts and stop-and-go starts. For the first time, the Melo M13 features the Jordan Brand’s FlightSpeed technology and utilizes an injected phylon midsole.”
