The New York Knicks picked up their second straight win on a five-game Western Conference road trip against the Los Angeles Lakers, 118-112.

There was no rust for New York Knicks point guard Derrick Rose after missing the last two games. Rose was incredible against the Lakers. He scored 25 points on 12-16 shooting, including making his first eight attempts.
Other Knicks were forced to step up with Carmelo Anthony‘s poor shooting night (4-16) putting a strain on the offense.
Fortunately for New York, Kristaps Porzingis picked tonight to snap out of his mini-slump. The Unicorn was 8-15 for 26 points, 12 rebounds, and a career-high tying 7 blocks.
Brandon Jennings (a native of Compton, CA) was huge in the fourth quarter in his homecoming. Once again Jennings stole the show for the Knicks, dropping 15 fourth quarter points on 3 three-point field goals.
The Knicks improved to 11-4 in their last 15 games and 12-1 when leading after the third quarter.
Julius Randle had 17 points and 10 rebounds and Luol Deng had 22 points on 5 threes for the Lakers.
