With a man on second, New York Mets OF Curtis Granderson made an epic catch in centerfield hit off the bat of Brandon Belt.

Don’t ever tell Elite Sports NY that Curtis Granderson is garbage. If you do, you may just get embarrassed.

With the 2016 NL Wild Card Game scoreless in the top of the 6th-inning, the Grandyman came up huge for his New York Mets.

With Brandon Belt up at the dish and Denard Span at second after a steal, Grandy robbed belt in centerfield while crashing into the wall (video above). Granderson showed the kind of heart that has helped two of his past teams to reach the World Series (2006 Tigers, 2015 Mets).

The pitcher he backed in this spot, Noah Syndergaard, has been brilliant on the night. Through six innings, Thor has allowed just one hit and walked two while striking out 10 San Francisco Giants.

Madison Bumgarner has been equally brilliant in allowing just three hits and fanning five.

The teams are still scoreless in the 7th-inning with both starters still on the mound.
