When New York Mets teammates Noah Syndergaard and Michael Conforto are together, one is called “dragon” while the other, “nighthawk.”
Picture this: Noah Syndergaard and Michael Conforto are chilling, just kicking it in their shared Manhattan apartment on an off day.
One yells out, “Get over here Dragon.”
The other? Well he says, “Shut the hell up Nighthawk.”
The beat then goes on.
This is the scene that will shortly commence, yet again, now that Mikey C. has been re-called by the New York Mets. He and Thor can resume their well documented and unabashed friendship.
Syndergaard, himself, eluded to the thought on Twitter recently with a little help from Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly and Step Brothers (GIF above).
Scooter? At first, I thought, “Holy cow!” But then again, who knows how that nickname came about.
