On ‘Late Night’ with Seth Meyers, New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter proclaimed Boston Red Sox fans have “softened up.”

“Bawston.” It’s the city of toughness.

Whether it’s the Bruins, Celtics, Patriots, or Red Sox, Boston fans are known for being tough. Even New Yorkers know this – even though they understand the tag of “annoying” also comes with that toughness.

Perhaps, though, since the “Sawks” have collected not one, not two, but three World Series Championships since 2004, this toughness has dropped a peg.

Derek Jeter believes this is the case.

Check out the above video. The former New York Yankees shortstop, and current legend, went on Late Night with Seth Meyers and stated that Red Sox fans of “softened up” during recent years.

Odd are, upon Bostonians hearing what Jeets had to say, they’ll now do something nuts in response.

There’s only one thing left to say: Yeah Jeets!
