New York Mets Single-A affiliate Brooklyn Cyclones will giveaway Wilmer Flores “from tears to cheers” bobbleheads.

New York Mets infielder Wilmer Flores became a huge hit last season.

We all knew what happened last July when he cried on the field after thinking he was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers for Carlos Gomez, only to find out the trade never materialized.

Flores remained a Met, and two days later in a crucial game against the division rival Washington Nationals, he received the biggest ovation from the Mets faithful.

The love grew even more after Flores hit a walk-off home run to win the game.

These moments became one of the most memorable moments in Mets history, and this year, to remember it, the Mets Single-A Brooklyn Cyclones will give away a double-sided “From Tears to Cheers” bobblehead that shows the sad (when he teared) and happy (when he hit the walk-off homer) Flores on either side of the figure:

It’s a really cool way to remember not only an iconic moment, but to honor one of the more beloved Mets players in that clubhouse.
