New York Knicks rookie Kristaps Porzingis is back to business as he electrifies the Chicago with an incredible performance against the Bulls.

Remember when every night was about another incredible performance from rookie phenom Kristaps Porzingis? Yeah, it’s been awhile.

March has been rough on him, as he’s shooting below 35 percent from the field and just 25 percent from downtown. Well tonight that all changed as he lit up the Bulls for 29 points of 11-of-16 shooting, with 3 three-pointers.

In front of a sellout crowd in Chicago, Porzingis was masterful showing off his entire arsenal of moves.

The offense ran through the rookie tonight. He had a higher usage percentage (34.1) than Carmelo Anthony (29.1), and the Knicks scored 125.9 points per 100 possessions with Porzingis on the court. The rookie was unphased by any defensive attention, as he shot 5-of-6 on contested field goals.

Watching an incredible performance from Porzingis is something that Knicks’ fans used to be able to look forward to. With such little hope left in the season it’s great to see the team be able to rally around something. It’s not like they can rally around Anthony anymore. No one believes he’ll be there next season.

The Bulls will look for revenge Thursday night at the Garden.
