Now that the NBA trade deadline has passed, reports about “almost” deals are surfacing. One with the New York Knicks’ Carmelo Anthony is making the rounds.

The reported situation would have Melo heading to the Cavs to join LeBron James and Kevin Love going to Boston. According to Ian Begley of ESPN, the Celtics also showed interest in the 31-year old Knicks’ forward.
Despite all of the noise, however, Anthony has responded emphatically, via Isola and Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News:
“No. Heck no,” Anthony said on Wednesday in Indianapolis with his Knicks in town playing the Pacers.
He also put up this tweet, reaffirming his attitude during this time of rumors about what-ifs:
Melo is a Knickerbocker, and will be until further notice.
