When baseball hits its peak, during late October, it becomes a beautiful thing. The once boring, can’t stand it-type game that you casually let play on your TV in the background during late May, suddenly ramps up with highly-charged emotions and diehard attitudes.

Each and every pitch means the world.

This is the case for Game 6 of the ALCS, and one guy who understands this concept is Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Ben Revere.

Check out Revere’s outstanding catch to rob Salvador Perez during the seventh-inning of a one-run game (video above).

Although the run definitely prevented a run scored and extra-base hit by Perez, the Royals still struck for a run to increase their lead to 3-1 heading into the eighth.

The winner will play the New York Mets in the World Series.
