New York Mets starting pitcher Matt Harvey is mad about being taken out of a game after just five-innings even though he was the one who initiated the 180-inning max conversation.
Get it? I certainly don’t.
In Sunday night’s rubber game against the New York Yankees in the 2015 Subway Series, Harvey pitched a stellar five-innings. He allowed no runs and only one hit while striking out seven Yankees.
When Terry Collins removed him from the game after the fifth-inning, Harvey was visibly upset in the dugout. It just doesn’t make sense after he and his agent were the ones who brought up the entire 180-inning controversy to begin with.
The bulldog likable version of Harvey is now officially gone. This is a diva action through and through.
