New York Mets reliever Jerry Blevins re-injures arm after slipping and falling of off a curb. He is expected to miss the rest of the season.

According to a report by Mike Puma of the New York Post, left-handed reliever Jerry Blevins will miss the remainder of the season after slipping and falling from a curb.

While the news is not devastating to the New York Mets, Blevins was going to a be a welcome sight and an important part of the bullpen during the stretch run.  Blevins, out since April, initially fractured his arm after taking a line drive off of his forearm in a game against the Marlins back in April.
