The New York Mets send veteran Bartolo Colon out to face the San Francisco Giants in Game 2. The ‘Vote Familia’ push is officially on.

After an impressive 3-0 victory on Monday night near the Bay, the New York Mets will now send Bartolo Colon (9-6, 4.55 ERA) to the mound to take on the recently returned Matt Cain (0-1, 9.00 ERA).

This will be Cain’s first appearance at AT&T Park in nearly a year.

On top of the game, the campaign to get Jeurys Familia into the 2015 MLB All-Star Game is on in full force. Incredibly, Bruce Bochy (the man Terry Collins is pitted up against tonight) didn’t take the Mets closer (23 saves, 1.13 ERA) as an NL reserve:
