After suffering through four-disastrous starts, New York Mets ace Matt Harvey responds tonight against the red-hot Toronto Blue Jays.

Just like that, the faith has been restored. Those nervous and anxious New York Mets calls on the airwaves the past two-weeks will suddenly stop, for Matt Harvey is once again brilliant.
Tonight, as the Mets hosted the Toronto Blue Jays for the second-straight night, Harvey tossed a gem. His seven-innings of work only yielded four-hits while striking out six batters of the hottest lineup in baseball over the last 10-plus days.
It’s a far cry from his 7.20 ERA his last four-outings.
Although reliever Carlos Torres surrendered two-runs in the eighth-inning, the Mets offense took care of the rest.
Both Wilmer Flores and Harvey doubled in the second-inning, each driving in a run. Ruben Tejada later knocked in a run with a single an inning later.
Surprisingly, it was all the Familia-less Mets bullpen needed.
Bobby Parnell contributed in a familiar way as he notched his first-save of the season. It was one of the four-out variety, only giving up a single hit.
The Mets will now travel north to Toronto for two-games. Despite how it shakes out, taking two in a row from a squad that had previously won 11-straight is pretty impressive.
