When special days of the summer come rolling around, such as Labor Day, 4th of July, and Memorial Day, it just feels right that both the New York Yankees and Mets are playing matinees.
Whether your at the ballpark, sitting at home on your keister, or grilling up the filthiest burger creation known to man, the sounds of baseball are flying through your speakers in some way, shape or form.
Today, Mets first-baseman Lucas Duda helped those sounds with a crack of the bat in the third-inning.
With New York trailing the Philadelphia Phillies 2-1, Duda quickly tied the game with this solo shot off of Severino Gonzalez:
