In the New York Knicks reality check of a loss to the Toronto Raptors, Jeff Hornacek witnessed Tim Hardaway Jr. leave due to a foot injury.

It was an ugly night for the away squad. Friday Night Knicks turned up an ugly 107-84 loss for the New York Knicks north of the border in Toronto.

From the outset, the entire team other than Jarrett Jack couldn’t hit an ocean with a rock. New York shot an incredible 30-for-91 from the floor (33 percent). Tim Hardaway Jr. came away with a team-high 13 points on 5-for-11 from the floor. Kristaps Porzingis matched his 13 to pace the Knickerbockers but was poor overall (3-13 FG).

Speaking of Timmy, he left the game in the second half as the benches cleared with an apparent foot injury, via Marc Berman of the New York Post. It’s been lingering for a little while, as he put it.

“It’s been lingering the last 36 hours,’’ Hardaway said. “When I woke up Thursday, it’s just nagging pain. Normally I like to play through it [with] no excuses. I try to grind it out. I wasn’t feeling good so I cam out and make sure it’s OK. It’s all good.’’

X-rays after the game came back negative, but his availability for Monday’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers is in doubt.

“There’s pain in that area and it didn’t start to feel right, it started to feel uncomfortable,’’ Hardaway said. “It’s the middle of the foot where arch is. My goal is to get ready for the Clippers.’’

In other news, Jeff Hornacek recently explained just how much he loved to see Enes Kanter and his Knicks stand up to LeBron James.

“I thought it was great,’’ he said on the newest edition of “The Jeff Hornacek Experience” that debuts Friday night on MSG Networks after the Knicks face the Raptors. “When we played back in the day, there was a lot of that. So you don’t see as much now in today’s game.
