Thrilling New York Islanders prospect Sebastian Aho joins Schwartz on Sports to discuss his season thus far with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
When the New York Islanders selected defenseman Sebastian Aho out of the Swedish Hockey League in the fifth round of the 2017 draft this past June, it opened up some eyes.
Not even Aho thought he was getting drafted yet he was taken by the Islanders, enjoyed a solid training camp and is having a terrific season playing for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers in the American Hockey League.
Through 12 games, Aho has six goals, three assists and nine points as his stock continues to rise should the islanders need to make a call up for a defenseman.
Aho joins me on Schwartz on Sports to talk about his season so far. You can See Aho and the Sound Tigers at Webster Bank Arena this Saturday night against Charlotte and this Sunday afternoon against Springfield.
