New York Knicks general manager Scott Perry has a big decision to make before Joakim Noah returns from suspension.
Joakim Noah‘s return from suspension on Monday means that New York Knicks general manager Scott Perry has a tough decision to make. New York currently has 15 players under contract; they’ll need to make room for Noah upon his return.
Jarrett Jack — playing on a non-guaranteed deal — was thought to be the logical choice to go before the season. Now he’s the starting point guard so he’s not going anywhere. Perry talked about the decision and even discussed the status of Ramon Sessions.

“I think it would be unfair for me to comment about any guy as it relates to if he’s going to be here or not,’’ Perry said. “What I will say about Ramon, Ramon is a true professional. The guy is a pro. He goes about his business the same way every day whether he’s playing or not playing. That sets a fine example.”
Sessions has played just six minutes of garbage time after being benched following New York’s 0-3 start. He’s a candidate to go. So is Mindaugas Kuzminskas as he’s currently on the trading block.
Perry says that the team has been working on a decision for a few weeks and they’ll have on by Sunday at 5 p.m. It’s good to hear a Knicks executive speak with such authority like that.
