Buchnevich showed his speed and accuracy on a beautiful goal to give the Rangers a 1-0 first-period lead over Boston.

Pavel Buchnevich was demoted to the fourth line earlier this season. He needed to prove himself to the coaching staff to show he was committed to playing the way he is capable of. Well, it looks like Buchnevich has found his game, along with his speed and scoring touch.

Buchnevich took a pass from Michael Grabner and put on a show at Madison Square Garden and at the same time made Boston Bruins defenseman Zdeno Chara look like a Con Edison safety cone. Buchnevich skated down the right side of the ice, then turned on the jets to blow by Chara, Buchnevich then cut to the front of the net and lifted the puck to the top corner on the short side of Tuukka Rask to give the Rangers a 1-0 lead.

The fans were barely back in their seats before the Bruins tied it at one and a David Pastrnak goal.
