With a sweep of Tampa Bay and Florida, the New York Rangers return to MSG to take on Brandon Dubinsky and the Columbus Blue Jackets.

The Rangers are set to battle the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight at the Garden. The Blueshirts are coming off a 5-4 overtime victory against the Florida Panthers with Kevin Shattenkirk scoring the game winner.

Mika Zibanejad and J.T. Miller lead the Rangers in points with 14 each. Zibanejad leads the team in scoring with eight goals and six assists. Kevin Shattenkirk leads the Rangers defensemen with four goals and nine assists for 13 points. He has recorded at least one point in each of the last four games. Henrik Lundqvist (5-4-0) has won three consecutive games in between the pipes.

Head coach Alain Vigneault has been impressed with the team’s resilience and likes the attitude the team has. “We just don’t stop,” Vigneault told the media after practice yesterday.

Center Cristoval “Boo” Nieves will be back in the lineup after missing Saturday’s game.

The Columbus Blue Jackets are led by defenseman Seth Jones, who has scored three goals and eight assists for 11 points on the season. Artemi Panarin leads the forwards in points with one goal and 10 assists. Sonny Milano and Josh Anderson are tied for the lead in goals with five each.

Former Ranger Brandon Dubinsky scored his first goal of the season on Saturday night in a 5-4 overtime loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The teams previously met on October 13 where Columbus defeated the Rangers 3-1 in Columbus. They have two more contest remaining, November 17 at Columbus and March 20 at MSG.
