The Rangers look to get their first road win of the season as they visit Steven Stamkos and the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Coming off of their 6-4 comeback win over the Las Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday night, the Rangers travel to Tampa Bay to take on the Atlantic Division-leading Lightning tonight.

Rangers center Mika Zibanejad leads the team with eight goals and 13 points, picking up a goal and an assist in Tuesday’s night win. He skated on what looks to be the team’s new top line with Chris Kreider and Mats Zuccarello.

The Rangers have the NHL’s 10th best powerplay, converting 21.1 percent of their chances with a man advantage. They haven’t been as good in their own end of the ice, though, with a 79.2 percent success rate when down a man. That’s the NHL’s 10th worst.

Steven Stamkos leads the Lightning with 24 points, while forward Nikita Kucherov leads the team with 13 goals. Defenseman Victor Hedman leads the team in average time on ice at 25:47 minutes. Goaltender Peter Budaj has 4.00 goals against average for the Lightning. Tampa’s power play is second in the NHL. converting at 29.6 percent efficiency.

This is the first of three meetings against Tampa Bay, which is coming off an 8-5 victory over the Florida Panthers on Monday night. The other two matchups don’t arrive until March: Mar. 8 at Tampa Bay and Mar. 30 at MSG.
