The New York Knicks are making a change to their starting lineup Friday night following losses in their first three games.
The New York Knicks have decided to make a change after losing their first three games of the season. During Friday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets, there will be a new point guard starting for the struggling team.
Michael Scotto of Basketball Insiders reports that veteran point guard Jarrett Jack will be in the starting lineup. Jack played for the Nets for two seasons (’14-15, ’15-16).
Jack has only appeared in one of New York’s three games so far. He logged 18 minutes, put up four points and dished out two assists against the Celtics.
Ramon Sessions has started at point guard in the three losses New York has suffered so far. Per NBA.com, the Knicks have been outscored by 28.3 points per 100 possessions with him on the court.
According to NBA.com, the Knicks starting lineup has the second-worst offensive rating of any five-man lineup in the NBA that’s played together for a minimum of 30 minutes. Some change can’t hurt.
