The New York Giants offense hit a season-low in their 24-7 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.

The New York Giants offense managed a season-low 177 yards and may not have even managed a touchdown if Avery Moss hadn’t forced a fumble that Landon Collins returned 32 yards to the Seahawks 17-yard line. The Giants would score two plays later on an Evan Engram five-yard touchdown reception.

The offense managed just 14 first downs and six of those were because of penalties, and the other eight were passing. Despite the Seahawks having just the 18th ranked rushing defense, the Giants did not gain a single first down on the ground.

Everyone knew without Odell Beckham Jr. and Brandon Marshall lost for the season, and Sterling Shepard still out with an ankle injury that the offense would struggle.

But after winning last week in Denver, no one could have imagined how putrid that Giants offense would perform against the Seahawks.

Eli Manning completed just 19 out of 39 passes for 134 yards, a touchdown and lost a fumble.

The running game which gained 148 last week was nonexistent as they gained just 46 yards on 17 attempts.

No matter which way you look at it, there was nothing positive about the Giants offense.

They even lost their best offensive lineman Justin Pugh in the 3rd-quarter to a back injury.

This has been a nightmare season for the New York Giants. Only the winless Cleveland Browns and San Francisco 49ers have a worse record.

This team had aspirations of winning the Super Bowl heading into this season, but now must come to terms with the reality that their season is over before Halloween.

The Giants offense should improve some once Shepard returns after the bye week. But that will be little consolation for how poorly the offense looked today and for most of the season.
