The New York Knicks have a full 15-man roster, but have taken interest in free agent Wade Baldwin.

According to Darren Wolfson, reporter for KTSP-TV, the New York Knicks have their eyes on another young guard.

Wade Baldwin was waived by the Memphis Grizzlies Monday in order to keep veteran point guard Mario Chalmers on roster.

A former lottery pick, the Grizzlies drafted Baldwin with the 17th overall pick of last year’s draft. He averaged 3.2 points and 1.8 assists in just 33 games his rookie year.

With 15 guaranteed contracts on roster, New York would have to waive someone to fit Baldwin in.
