Green Bay Packers stud quarterback Aaron Rodgers was carted off the field against the Minnesota Vikings with an injury.

Green Bay Packers superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers was forced from today’s game with the Minnesota Vikings after taking a hard hit. Rodgers rolled right, threw the ball, and was hit right after the release.

He appeared to land hard on his right (throwing) shoulder, and the big man falling on top of him after making the tackle didn’t help his shoulder. He was carted to the locker room, and will presumably miss some time.

Rodgers has made the Pro Bowl the past three seasons, and five of the past six seasons. He has been named an All-Pro twice (2011 and 2014) and has long been considered a top quarterback. He hasn’t missed a game since 2013.

Brett Hundley, the second year quarterback out of UCLA, has taken over as the starter. He appeared in four games last year, going 2-10 for 17 yards and one INT. He’s in line to take over as the starter should Rodgers be forced to miss any games.

Hundley is probably worth a pickup in deeper fantasy leagues, as he’ll be playing in a good offense and can be a decent play should your starting quarterback be on bye for a week.
