Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller says that Odell Beckham Jr. deserves to be the NFL’s highest-paid player.

New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. might want his friend Von Miller to handle his contract negotiations from now on.

Beckham said before training camp that he wants to be the highest-paid player in the NFL. Miller agreed with Beckham on Wednesday, saying that the Giants receiver deserves to be the NFL’s highest-paid player.

“Odell (Beckham) should be the highest-paid player ever in the National Football League,” he said, per Jordan Raanan of ESPN. He should be the highest-paid player ever, regardless of position. That’s just the type of player he is. It doesn’t matter if it’s quarterback, offensive line, receiver. It doesn’t matter. The type of impact that he has on the globe, the type of viewers that he brings — just him as a player. That makes up for him not playing quarterback. So, he’s a once in a lifetime player. Definitely deserving.”

Beckham won’t have any impact on the rest of this season after having season-ending surgery on a fractured ankle. He has vowed that he’ll be back better than ever and even got a visit from his friend Drake in the hospital.

It is unknown whether OBJ will be the highest-paid player in the league someday. But Odell—if you do become the highest-paid player of all-time—then you should probably give Miller a cut of your salary.

The Giants will look for their first win of the season on Sunday night against Miller’s Broncos.
