The New York Rangers struggled early during the first week but look to right the ship during week two of early season NHL action.

The struggle continued and to be honest worsened when the boys traveled up to a Toronto to take on the young, speedy, and full of energy Maple Leafs. Henrik Lundqvist was horrendous with little to no help from the defense.

Through all the struggles, the Blueshirts power play finally looks to be taking form with the free agent addition Kevin Shattenkirk leading the charge. Mika Zibanejad has also shown his skill and prowess on the power play. Are some fans still amount about trading him for Brassard? Wake up, guys.

Finally, the Rangers and their fans can take a deep breath as we secured the first win of the year Sunday night against the Canadiens. More importantly, Hank was able to shutout out the Habs, which will do wonders for his confidence.

Don’t fret. Hockey is back. The boys are back. The boys are going to be all right.
