Mike Francesa Rips Caller For ‘Ridiculous’ Yankees Prediction

Good ol’ Mike Francesa, providing us with gems that make use giggle despite the New York Yankees heading to the Bronx down 0-2.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen a gem from Mike Francesa and now our prayers have been answered.

Francesa took a call yesterday regarding Game 2 of the ALDS between the Cleveland Indians and the New York Yankees. The results were pretty hilarious, after the monstrosity of Game 2 ended.

Francesa thought this caller was ridiculous. Who looks ridiculous now?

While this caller made an incredibly bold prediction, Francesa’s reaction was warranted. Nobody expected the Yankees to shell on the American League’s top pitchers and knock him out in the third (!) inning.

But looking back, that call aged pretty well. Francesa was adamant that the Yankees couldn’t do it but has he been watching this team all season?

The Yankees have done far more impressive things this season and anything can happen in the postseason. Like the Yankees blowing a 5-run lead and losing in extra innings after controlling the entire game.

But I digress. Francesa may yell and berate callers but at least it makes for incredible entertainment.
