The puzzle is now complete. After an exciting summer and preseason, the 2017-18 New York Rangers roster is now set.

With opening night one day away, the National Hockey League announced the New York Rangers official roster, along with the other 30 NHL clubs.

As has been reported this week on Elite Sports, the Rangers roster has been locked in since the team traveled to Lake Placid earlier this week. The Rangers have been limited regarding player movement due to their salary cap situation and waiver restrictions.

Here’s who the team is rolling with to start the season:

Forwards

Pavel Buchnevich, Paul Carey, Filip Chytil, David Desharnais, Michael Grabner, Kevin Hayes, Chris Kreider, J.T. Miller, Rick Nash, Jimmy Vesey, Mika Zibanejad and Mats Zuccarello.

Defensemen

Anthony DeAngelo, Nick Holden, Steven Kampfer, Ryan McDonagh, Kevin Shattenkirk, Brady Skjei, Brendan Smith and Marc Staal.

Goalies

Henrik Lundqvist and Ondrej Pavelec

The Rangers kick off their 91st season tomorrow night at Madison Square Garden against the Colorado Avalanche. Gametime is 7:00 p.m. ET.
