The Las Vegas Golden Knights will be participating in their inaugural regular season NHL game at home on Oct. 10. But they’ll play their first home preseason game against the Los Angeles Kings at T-Mobile Arena Tuesday night at 10 p.m. ET.

Vegas wanted to do something special for its fans, who played a vital role in helping to bring NHL hockey to “Sin City.”

So the Knights found a way to bond the fans and the team together on the ice. The team revealed that they’re freezing the names of their season-ticket holders inside the home ice at T-Mobile Arena. The names were rolled out on giant scrolls and embedded into the ice right next to each blue line.

The Knights tweeted a video of this process. “When we take the ice we won’t be alone. We’ll be joined by our fans,” reads the tweet.
