New York Yankees phenom Aaron Judge has tied the all-time record for home runs in a season by a rookie with number 49 of the season.

It never ends with New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge, he just wants to break every record possible during his historic rookie campaign.

With his two-run home run on Monday afternoon, Judge has tied Mark McGwire‘s single-season rookie home run record with an impressive 49 long balls.

Not only did he tie McGwire’s MLB record, but the right-hander also set the Yankees franchise record for the most home runs in a season by a rookie.

At this point, there are really no words to describe what Aaron Judge has done for the Yankees this season. Sure, he did have his two rough months but he is still going to finish the season with potentially 50 home runs.

The Yankees rookie is only one home run away now from actually breaking that record set by McGwire and standing on his own, the odds of him doing this are heavily in his favor.
