The New York Rangers faceoff against the New Jersey Devils tonight in game four of the preseason.

The Rangers will be playing in back-to-back road games as they take on the New Jersey Devils tonight at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. It will be the second time the teams have met in the last four days. The Rangers defeated the Devils 4-3 on Filip Chytil’s power-play goal in overtime on Wednesday night.

The Rangers projected skaters for tonight are:

Forwards: Chris Kreider, Cristoval Nieves, Andrew Desjardins, Cole Schneider, Mats Zuccarello, Michael Grabner, Dan Catenacci, Lias Andersson, Gabriel Fontaine, Rick Nash, Scott Kosmachuk, Mika Zibanejad. 

Defenseman: Marc Staal, Brendan Smith, Nick Holden, Ryan Mcdonagh, Kevin Shattenkirk, Brandon Crawley

Goalies: Henrik Lundqvist, Brandon Halverson

Mika Zibenajad will play in his first preseason game as he is coming off battling a bad cold/flu.

The Rangers also made three cuts as was reported by Steve Zipay. Sean Day, Dawson Leedahl and Sergey Zborovskiy were sent to the Wolf Pack.

The New Jersey Devils are coming off a 4-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday. Mirco Mueller, Nico Hischier, Jesper Bratt (2) were the Devils scorers.

The Rangers dropped last nights game to the New York Islanders 2-1 as Vinny Lettieri scored the lone goal.
