If you’re into sabermetrics, advanced metrics, math or the Pythagorean Theorem, look away. For ESPN Radio host Don La Greca isn’t a fan.

Don’t you dare call the ESPN Radio’s “The Michael Kay Show” and try to defend the New York Giants‘ pathetic offensive line with numbers. At least not when co-host Don La Greca is in the studio.

After a caller tried using advanced stats and sabermetrics to defend the O-Line’s performance, La Greca exploded.

“The offensive line sucks. Period. That’s my stat,” La Greca said. “You want a stat? You want sabermetrics? @DonLaGreca tweeted last night or said on ‘The Michael Kay Show,’ offensive line stinks, that’s the stat.”

La Greca has a point. Only one quarterback—Cleveland Browns rookie DeShone Kizer—has been sacked more times in two games (nine) than Eli Manning (eight). Cincinnati’s Andy Dalton and Philadelphia’s Carson Wentz have also hit the turf eight times in 2017.

But the feisty co-host wasn’t done ranting. Not by a long shot.

“We’re gonna be like accountants now in baseball. Uh, what is it – the Pythagorean theorem. The Pythagorean theorem says the Giants offensive line, that their record should be 1-1. That’s the Pythagorean theorem says that the Giants record should be 2-0.”

At this point, La Greca’s face was turning red as he continued to become more agitated by the second.

“It’s football! I’ve been watching it for 40 years, 40! That’s one of the worst offensive lines I’ve ever seen and they have not gone this long without scoring 20 points since ’77-’78 when Joe Pisarcik was their quarterback!”

Giants fans undoubtedly share La Greca’s frustration, though it’s unlikely most would have turned their rage on the Pythagorean Theorem. Then again, if math tortured you in school like it has for so many, perhaps it would be near the top of your hit list.
