More excitement surrounding the hockey world as NHL players all gathered in New York City for the NHL’s Media Days
The smell of hockey drew even closer as the NHL hosted their Media Day in New York City yesterday. The New York Rangers were represented by Ryan McDonagh and newest Ranger Kevin Shattenkirk. At the Media Tour, the NHL dropped a new initiative called the Declaration of Hockey Principles. This is an initiative to get and keep anyone involved in the game of hockey, regardless of race, gender etc. With the way today’s society is moving, this is a really good thing for the NHL to be involved with.
There was even a surprise visit from the Instagram Boys, On the Bench. These two have been hilariously giving advice on the “fundies” (fundamentals) of hockey on the social media site. They’ve grown so much that their list of guests now includes stars like Johnny Gaudreau, Jeff Carter and Tyler Toffoli. If you’re a hockey fan, I suggest following these two immediately.
Dropping Hits
Elsewhere, in an interview with the Rangers’ Amanda Borges, Mika Zibanejed talked about his first single called Forever. Zibanejed is a DJ off the ice and a pretty good one to boot.
In a post on his Instagram, Zibanejed revealed he is ready to drop yet another single on Friday.
Hopefully, Zibanejed is now fully recovered from his leg injury in the middle of last year and can build on his playoff success.
