According to Ian Begley of ESPN, the Milwaukee Bucks emerged as a potential third team in a trade for New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony.

The mutual desire between the New York Knicks and Carmelo Anthony to get the latter out of the Big Apple is one of the NBA’s worst kept secrets. Anthony wants to go to Houston, and New York trying to get him there, but they need the help of another team because the Rockets don’t have anything the Knicks want.

According to ESPN’s Ian Begley, a potential third team has emerged. It’s the Milwaukee Bucks, and an intriguing young prospect is even attached to the deal. Jabari Parker is often compared to the ten-time All-Star for their isolation style of offense.

Parker has had injury concerns – tearing his ACL twice in his first three seasons – but he’s shown flashes of offensives greatness. New York won’t do any better than Jabari Parker.

Per Begley, a larger contract of Milwaukee’s like Greg Monroe‘s (one year, $17.8 million remaining) John Henson‘s (three years, $31 million). It’s still “not close” to being completed as of last week, but you have to think eventually Anthony’s going out of New York.
