New York Knicks‘ Frank Ntilikina talked about working out with Carmelo Anthony and the ten-time All-Star’s future in the Big Apple.

The future of the New York Knicks collided with the future of the New York Yankees on Sunday when Frank Ntilikina attended Sunday’s Red Sox game and took a photo with Aaron Judge.

Knicks fans hope that the success of the rookie slugger will rub off on their newest point guard. The first-round pick is certainly putting the work in.

Ntilikina told reporters that he’s workout out with superstar Carmelo Anthony, Lance Thomas, and more Knicks teammates. The rookie also talked about Anthony’s uncertain future. Did they discuss it while working out?

Via Ian Begley of ESPN:

“We were just focusing on playing and whatever will happen, will happen. We’ll see.”

Per Begley, Ntilikina is a baseball fan since coming to the United States. Notably, he’s become a fan of the New York Yankees.

Frank and Melo share renowned NBA trainer Chris Brickley. It’s not a surprise that they’d be working out together. They also share agent, Leon Rose.

With Anthony’s pending trade to Houston, Ntilikina could become the face of the franchise sooner rather than later.
