New York Knicks forward Mindaugas Kuzminskas kept up his scoring touch in Lithuania’s win on Sunday over Italy.

Only one of the New York Knicks EuroBasket Big Three was in action on Sunday – Mindaugas Kuzminskas – and he made the most of the spotlight. With Kristaps Porzingis and Willy Hernangomez having the day off, Kuzminskas had another big game.

Kuzminskas scored 14 points on 5-of-13 shooting in Lithuania’s 78-73 victory over Italy. Kuz was a spark off the bench yet again as he scored in double figures for the third time in three games. He’s averaging 16 points per game on 52.4 percent shooting, and he’s made 8-of-19 threes.

Lithuania improved to 2-1 in group play with their next game coming Tuesday against the Ukraine (1-2).

Hernangomez and Spain continue to exert their dominance on the competition on Monday against Romania. The Spanish team won their first two games by a combined 76 points. Hernangomez has been a big help, leading the team in rebounds in both contests.

Porzingis moves on from his 27 point performance against Belgium on Monday when Latvia takes on Great Britain. The 22-year-old has been the star of the tournament.
