In the latest Instagram video of New York Knicks’ Frank Ntilikina in the gym, he’s seen working on his jump shot with trainer Chris Brickley.

New York Knicks fans can be encouraged by the work ethic of first-round pick Frank Ntilikina. According to super trainer Chris Brickley’s Instagram page, the point guard has been in the gym since he arrived in New York.

Brickley, famous for being the trainer to Carmelo Anthony, posted a video of Ntilikina working out on his game last week that garnered attention.

This came after Ntilikina worked out with Brickley back in April; before New York selected him with the eighth pick in the draft.

The 19-year-old is projected to come right into the league and contribute as a strong defender. His two strong suits are his defense and his passing.

What he needs to work on is that jump shot. It needs to be more consistent if he wants to contribute at all as a scorer. Even Ntilikina admits that he needs to get stronger – he’s listed at 6-foot-5, 190 pounds – to guard NBA point guards.
