New York Mets ace Noah Syndergaard threw 20 pitches at Yankee Stadium today, and it looked like he was never injured in the first place.
Earlier on Tuesday, New York Mets starter Noah Syndergaard threw off a mound for the first time since April. It’s safe to say that he looked like he was in midseason form.
During a follow-up interview with MLB.com‘s Anthony Dicomo, Syndergaard appeared way ahead of schedule. “This is the best I’ve ever felt, and it felt like I never took time off.”
Syndergaard and Matt Harvey have expressed their aims to return to New York’s rotation at some point this season.
Both of them felt great following their first bullpen session/rehab start, and Harvey didn’t shy away from expressing that in his postgame interview.
