On Monday at New York Giants practice wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. showcased his midseason form with a one-handed grab and dance moves to die for.

EAST RUTHERFORD-Odell Beckham Jr. is used to making spectacular catches on Sunday afternoons during the fall. During today’s practice, he added one in the summer.

In a time where highlight reel grabs are reserved for Yankee Stadium and Citi Field, Beckham added Quest Diagnostics Training Center to that exclusive list with a one-handed snag during a situational team drill. Needing a touchdown in a two-minute simulation, Beckham perhaps foreshadowed what’s to come several Sundays from now on this deep ball from Eli Manning.

The Giants’ official Twitter account later gave a closer angle of the catch.

Alas, like so many plays in the purgatory that is the NFL preseason, Beckham’s catch would go for naught. Mere milliseconds before Manning’s launch, a whistle blew the play dead, as officials ruled Olivier Vernon got to Manning. The situational drill would later end in a Dontae Deayon interception.

It anything but a day of rest for Beckham, who entertained fans with with his gold cleats and dance moves during breaks in the action.

The Giants will wrap training camp a practice on Monday and Tuesday, each at 10:55 AM. Weather permitting, they will both be open to the public. They’ll play their next preseason game on August 21 in a nationally televised tilt in Cleveland (8:00 PM, ESPN).
