Finally, first round phenom Jamal Adams and the New York Jets have agreed on the kid’s first NFL contract, officially putting pen to paper.

Finally. Officially. It’s all done.

New York Jets first round phenom of a safety, Jamal Adams, has agreed with his employer on his first National Football League contract.

Adams’s representation, Universal Sports Management, announced the agreement on Thursday night.

Under terms of the NFL rookie wage scale, per Spotrac, the total value of Adams’ rookie deal is $22.6 million with a $14.3 million signing bonus.

Alongside second round pick Marcus Maye, Adams has the chance to not only turn out the best defensive rookie performance in 2017, but be one-half of the best safety duo in the NFL. That’s how good the LSU product is, can be.

Adams was selected No. 6 in last spring’s 2017 NFL Draft.
