So Perry may actually be the scapegoat if all goes wrong for the Knicks. Chip and Matt also discuss what the Perry hiring means for coach Jeff Hornacek.

Next, the show transitions into the second segment regarding the latest twist and turns of the Carmelo Anthony trade drama. Reports last week said a deal to Houston is close to getting done.

But now reports have stated the Knicks are looking to perhaps talk Anthony into staying with the Knicks. Chip and Matt discuss what would be the only reason that Melo would stay in New York.

Finally, in the third segment Chip and Matt discuss the reports that the Portland Trail Blazers really want Anthony to consider waving his no-trade clause to play for them. They discuss if should Melo consider the Trail Blazers, if a deal can be done and what the Knicks should ask for in return.
