New York Giants receiver Brandon Marshall was in no mood to be questioned about his past on Thursday.

Marshall was a guest on “The Kirk & Callahan Show” on WEEI radio in Boston on Thursday. The interview didn’t go as planned, however, as Marshall became irritated at a line of questioning and walked out.

According to USA Today‘s Steven Ruiz, the interview began normally. But a few minutes into the show, one host asked Marshall about his comments he made a few years ago about how race played a part in  Tom Brady’s suspension being nullified.

Marshall replied to the question stating, “I’m not getting into the race card with you guys. So if that’s what you guys want to do, then you can go there. But black guys in America get treated differently, period.”

The agitated vet continued. “Come on, man, you’re going back to a year ago. You guys made news, man. You got Brandon Marshall to say, ‘Black guys get treated differently,’ and I’m going to drop the mic on you guy. Change the subject, or I’m getting off, I’m dropping the mic.”

Afterward, Marshall was asked a question that sounded like it was about a domestic violence charge he faced back in 2007. “Do you think in a way — “luck” is not the word I want to use — what you have been accused of in the past…”

Marshall responded with “Oh [expletive]. All right, you guys. I’m done with you guys”.

I think it is safe to say that Marshall will not be exchanging Christmas cards with Kirk or Callahan, much less ever appearing as a guest on their show again.
