The former summer league standout will no longer be with the New York Knicks as they have waived forward Maurice Ndour.

With free agency starting at midnight the New York Knicks are making some changes to their roster. In a move to open up additional cap space the Knicks will waive forward Maurice Ndour.

Ndour was a part of the Knicks’ 2015 NBA Summer League roster. During this time he impressed many, averaging 9.6 points per game and 4.8 rebounds per game. Dallas was able to sign Ndour after this time, but he would be waived early on during the 2015-16 season.

Ndour would return to the Knicks in 2016. A crowded front court made it hard for Ndour to shine. He averaged 3.1 points per game and 2 rebounds per game in 32 games last season.
